Melissa Rister recently attended the annual conference for Divorce professionals sponsored by the Institute for Divorce Financial Analysts, in Orlando, Florida. The conference was attended by people from all over the US and Canada. Attendees represented a variety of professions; family lawyers, business valuators, CPAs, CDFAs, Financial Planners, mediators, and others serving the divorce community. There were presentations on a variety of divorce related topics including: Dissipation and Fraud, Executive Compensation Issues, QDROs, and Post-Divorce Financial Challenges.
