In a recent appellate court victory, Peskind Law Firm has successfully defended a favorable judgment against reversal. In the trial on the matter, Peskind Law Firm defended against claims that their client had violated a court order related to the payment of a minor child’s expenses. They were further able to compel a substantial contribution for the college expenses of the child, and attorney’s fees. The opposing party then appealed the matter, alleging that the trial court abused its discretion with respect to all aspects of its judgment. After the matter was argued through the attorney’s briefs, the Second District Court of appeals upheld the matter on all counts.
